Lawn grasses, like other plants, need nitrogen as an essential element in healthy growth. Nitrogen deficient lawns will be pale and patchy and exhibit poor or uneven growth.

Nitrogen is an essential element in the healthy growth of all plants including lawn grasses. We usually want a dense, green, lush lawn and nitrogen will encourage this.
How to solve the problem
